Durable and reliable, the 8Cr13MoV stainless steel blade contains extra carbon for a harder blade. The extra carbon also keeps the blade wear and corrosion resistant while maintaining its ability to take and hold an edge. Both blade and handle have been finished with a combination of bead-blasting and stonewashing for a uniquely attractive look. The 3.5-inch blade offers top performance and wicked sharpness straight from the box. The Oblivion’s handle combines stainless steel with strong and durable glass-filled nylon in a two-piece front handle scale. The angular handle has been smoothed for a comfortable grip and small finger contour enhances the grip. Paired with a frame lock, Kershaw adds an over-travel stop to keep the lock from moving too far when closing the knife.
